[Remote] Channel Sales Director - Commercial Recreation

Direct Sales Recruiting, LLC is a national recruitment organization seeking a Channel Sales Director to drive revenue growth through managing and developing distribution partners. The role involves overseeing partner relationships, optimizing sales strategies, and expanding market penetration.
Responsibilities
- Manage and develop existing channel and distribution partners
- Oversee and take accountability for sales performance, revenue and growth
- Establish and maintain customer relationships; manage planning, sales trends, client expectations, training, etc
- Identify distributorship coverage gaps and create plans to increase dealer base
- Review customer history, develop forecast and optimize territory coverage
- Maintain pertinent, detailed data including regulatory information that could influence product sales
- Actively engage in the field, hands-on assisting partners to evolve sales strategically
- Provide support channel partners as needed
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Min. 5+ years of Sales Management experience within Distributor / Channel Sales
- Background selling to municipalities / government or public-sectors required
- Previous experience in surfacing, shading, water and/ or playground /recreation sales/leadership required
- Proven experience managing independent rep agencies or distributor networks
- Ability to coach, train, and elevate sales teams in the field
- Experience in territory planning, channel strategy, and performance management
- Excellent Problem Solving & Communication skills
- Strong Negotiation & Analytical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM
- Ability to travel up to 50%, some overnights
