[Remote] Recruiter
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Trueline is a boutique recruiting agency focused on construction, accounting, legal, and executive searches. As a Recruiter, you will identify candidates that align with role requirements and client cultures, while thriving in ambiguity and quickly learning new industries.
Responsibilities
- Pick up and run with searches across multiple industries and role types, often outside your prior domain expertise
- Proactively engage passive candidates through outreach and networking
- Conduct robust candidate sourcing, screening, and interview scheduling
- Work closely with Account Managers to thoroughly understand role requirements, client culture, and market conditions
- Ensure the candidate experience exceeds industry standards by being prompt, compassionate, insightful, and always following through
- Foster strong and lasting relationships with candidates from all walks of life
Skills
- 4+ years of direct placement recruiting experience, ideally across multiple industries or functional areas we serve
- Comfortable stepping into unfamiliar roles or industries and quickly building fluency
- Naturally inquisitive – asks thoughtful, probing questions to uncover candidate and client needs
- Ability to communicate effectively across all levels – from skilled trades professionals to executive leadership
- Approaches recruiting as a consultative process, not a transactional one
- Demonstrated relationship-building skills and a consistent commitment to a high-quality candidate experience
- Proven experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools and databases such as Indeed and Monster, as well as a deep understanding of any applicant tracking software (we use Bullhorn)
- High standards for your work and a consistent, self-driven approach to improvement
- Focus, consistency, and maturity to work remotely, sometimes working odd hours to meet candidate's scheduling needs
- Experience recruiting across both hourly/field roles and professional or executive positions
- Background in agency environments with varied client types or industries
- Demonstrated success ramping quickly in new markets or verticals
- Exposure to both contingent and retained search models
- Prior experience working in a fully remote capacity in a performance-driven role
- Direct experience using Bullhorn as your primary ATS
