[Remote] DevOps Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Level Access is dedicated to improving accessibility solutions and is seeking a DevOps Engineer to enhance their cloud infrastructure. In this role, you will collaborate with teams to design, implement, and maintain infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines across AWS and Azure environments, ensuring system reliability and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve a multi-cloud infrastructure that supports the company’s accessibility solutions
• Implement and manage scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure on AWS, with an awareness of cost optimization best practices
• Support Kubernetes clusters, including deploying applications and managing configurations
• Build, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines using best practices to improve reliability and speed of software delivery
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management with tools such as Terraform and Ansible
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure deployment and architectural best practices
• Implement observability and monitoring solutions using tools like Datadog and CloudWatch to ensure system reliability
• Apply GitOps workflows using tools like ArgoCD or FluxCD for deployment automation
• Contribute to infrastructure and process documentation for consistency and knowledge sharing
• Assist with compliance efforts including security and frameworks like ISO 27001 and SOC 2
• Participate in incident response and on-call rotations as required

Skills

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, site reliability engineering (SRE), or related roles
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or similar (AWS CodePipeline, GitHub Actions)
• Working knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (Amazon EKS, Kubernetes, Docker)
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
• Proficiency with Git-based workflows and GitOps tools (ArgoCD or FluxCD)
• Experience configuring and deploying Helm Charts
• Skilled in Bash scripting; familiarity with Python and AWS Lambda is a plus
• Knowledge of observability tools such as Datadog and AWS CloudWatch
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure cloud and AKS
• Familiarity with FedRAMP compliance requirements or working within regulated environments
• Exposure to AI/ML-driven solutions that enhance DevOps workflows
