As a Cloud Engineer for T Cloud Public, you will: The challenges You’ll tackle?

  • Take on big operational challenges in our hyperscale cloud backend - owning everything from hands-on change implementation to deep problem investigation and proactive fixes that kill repetitive tasks before they spread.
  • Jump straight from insights to action by working directly at the console and getting up close with the hardware and tech that power our platform.
  • Turn your operational know-how into real impact by joining project rollouts and helping launch new features that evolve our cloud.
  • Automate wherever possible with modern frameworks, because smart workflows beat manual work every time.

Qualifications

Your superpowers: Completed studies in a technical, engineering or scientific subject or comparable professional training. 5-7 years of professional experience in IT and securing Linux OS with a focus on modern cloud technologies. Very good knowledge of software defined networks, routing, firewalls, IDS/IPS, Anti-DDoS, WAF and physical networks. Extensive knowledge in infrastructure automation. Strong experience in Linux and network related services and IT-Security. High level of customer focus. Knowledge of agile development processes. Ability to assess technical solutions and come up with creative approaches. OpenStack and programming experience in open source projects is a plus. Fluency in written and spoken English. You will be working in the European Union to meet our customers' data security and privacy requirements.
