[Remote] Senior QA Engineer

They are seeking a Senior QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of their products by designing, executing, and automating test cases across multiple platforms, while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web, mobile, and backend systems
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using modern automation frameworks
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to ensure testability and quality throughout the SDLC
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and API testing
- Contribute to building and enhancing automation frameworks under the guidance of the QA Lead
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing
- Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools, ensuring proper prioritization and resolution
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups to ensure quality is embedded early
- Support performance and security testing activities as required
- Analyze test results, provide clear reporting, and highlight risks or quality concerns
- Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies
- Mentor junior QA engineers and support knowledge sharing within the team
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 4–7 years of experience in software testing with strong exposure to both manual and automation testing
- Backbase certification is a MUST
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, or JavaScript)
- Solid experience in API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar
- Experience working with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps
- Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail)
- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Experience in performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6) is a plus
