[Remote] SEO Account Manager

They are seeking an SEO Account Manager to oversee client accounts, develop and execute SEO strategies, and serve as the primary point of contact for communication, while collaborating with various specialists to ensure SEO best practices are integrated in digital projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a portfolio of client accounts
• Develop and execute SEO strategies
• Serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day communication
• Conducting keyword research
• On-page optimization
• Technical SEO reviews
• Link-building initiatives
• Monitoring performance metrics
• Preparing client reports
• Presenting recommendations to improve organic visibility and conversions
• Collaborate closely with designers, developers, and content specialists to ensure SEO best practices are integrated across all digital projects

Skills

• Strong SEO strategy skills, including keyword research, on-page optimization, technical SEO, and link-building
• Understanding of GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) and principles on how to grow AEO and AI Search
• Experience managing client accounts, setting expectations, and maintaining clear, professional communication
• Proficiency with analytics and SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, keyword research platforms, rank tracking tools)
• Ability to interpret data, create concise performance reports, and translate insights into actionable recommendations
• Familiarity with website platforms and basic HTML/CSS concepts sufficient to collaborate with designers and developers
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain SEO concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Strong organizational and time management abilities, with experience prioritizing tasks across multiple client projects
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Previous experience in a digital agency or web services environment is preferred
