[Remote] VP/Director of Finance

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting is seeking a VP of Finance for an Investment Fund focused on strategy and growth. This role involves coordinating with external auditors, preparing cash flow forecasts, and supporting financial reporting processes for portfolio companies.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with external auditors, including Deloitte, and portfolio companies to support the preparation and filing of tax returns
• Prepare and maintain cash flow forecasts for portfolio companies to support liquidity planning and funding decisions
• Draft and distribute funding communications and capital call-related emails to portfolio companies and stakeholders
• Monitor portfolio company funding needs and ensure companies receive appropriate and timely funding allocations
• Support quarterly and annual financial reporting processes for the fund and portfolio companies
• Review and approve bank transfers in accordance with internal controls and fund policies
• Assist with onboarding new portfolio companies into the fund, including operational setup and documentation coordination
• Maintain accurate financial records, reporting schedules, and supporting documentation

Skills

• CPA is required
• Need someone with a Tax background – this person will be working with Deloitte and the portfolio companies to file tax returns
• Financial Reporting

• Due Diligence/Compliance background
• M&A exposure
• VC/PE background would be very helpful
