[Remote] Data Scientist (Pharmaceutical Commercial Analytics & GenAI)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Pacer Staffing is seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join the Global Data & Digital Innovation organization within the pharmaceutical commercial domain. This role focuses on developing AI/ML and GenAI-powered solutions that drive commercial effectiveness, collaborating with Sales, Marketing, Analytics, and Data Engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop predictive models for patient events, treatment initiation, and line-switch analysis
• Design and scale Next Best Action (NBA) solutions for HCP engagement strategies
• Build and deploy machine learning models using advanced statistical and AI techniques
• Develop GenAI-powered applications, decision agents, and commercial analytics solutions
• Design, implement, and maintain end-to-end ML pipelines from data ingestion through deployment
• Implement MLOps best practices including model monitoring, versioning, retraining, and CI/CD automation
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Data Engineering, and Analytics teams to deliver business insights
• Work with healthcare data sources including Claims, EHR/EMR, CRM, and digital engagement datasets
• Develop dashboards, analytical applications, and executive-level presentations
• Ensure compliance with healthcare data privacy regulations and industry standards

Skills

• 5–7+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or Advanced Analytics
• Pharmaceutical commercial analytics experience
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
• Experience with Machine Learning, Predictive Modeling, Regression, Classification, and NLP
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, GenAI, Prompt Engineering, RAG Architecture, and Agent-Based AI Systems (LangChain, AutoGen, MCP)
• Experience with Databricks, AWS, Azure ML, or SageMaker
• Knowledge of MLOps, CI/CD, Docker, REST APIs, and ML Pipeline Development
• Experience working with healthcare datasets including Claims, EHR/EMR, CRM, and Digital Engagement data
• Strong data visualization and storytelling skills using Power BI or Tableau
• Experience building scalable AI/ML solutions and production-grade analytics platforms
