[Remote] Account Manager - Human Nutrition, Vitamins & Carotenoids
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. BASF is a leading chemical company that offers a range of products and services for the nutrition and health sectors. They are seeking an Account Manager for Human Nutrition, Vitamins & Carotenoids to manage customer relationships and drive account strategies across the U.S., focusing on dietary supplements and health applications.
Responsibilities
- Leading customer development and growth activities in alignment with the Human Nutrition strategy across Sales, Marketing, and Account Management
- Driving the key account planning process, including developing and executing account plans for customers in the USA
- Identifying, negotiating, and closing growth opportunities with customers while managing key internal and external stakeholders
- Implementing the Human Nutrition strategy and delivering performance targets by defining budgets, monitoring critical KPIs, and driving new business and innovation initiatives
- Acting as the primary customer focal point, serving as the key interface for BASF senior management and leading customer issue escalation and resolution
- Building and maintaining senior-level customer relationships by presenting to internal and external stakeholders and steering high-impact business discussions
Skills
- Hold a Bachelor's or advanced degree
- Bring 5+ years of business experience in Sales, Marketing, or Account Management
- Demonstrate proven sales leadership and influencing skills, with experience supporting strategic account planning
- Apply strong strategic thinking and organizational awareness to manage complex stakeholder environments and drive mutually beneficial outcomes
- Work collaboratively with an entrepreneurial and solution-oriented mindset across functions
- Leverage strong business acumen, including experience managing budgets, KPIs, and business performance targets
- Communicate effectively at a senior level, possessing strong interpersonal, presentation, and Microsoft Office skills to engage key decision-makers
- Remote US - West Coast Preferred
