[Remote] Director, Global Brand Marketing
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Jackson James is a fast-scaling performance apparel and active lifestyle brand seeking a Director of Global Brand Marketing. This role focuses on defining and scaling the brand's creative direction, storytelling, and cultural expression across various platforms and campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end brand, content, and cultural system, defining how the brand is expressed across all consumer touchpoints
- Creative
- Define and evolve brand voice, identity, and storytelling system
- Lead integrated campaigns and cultural brand moments
- Ensure consistent brand expression across all channels
- Own social and content strategy across key platforms (IG, TikTok, YouTube)
- Build a scalable, high-output content engine tied to product and culture
- Maintain always-on storytelling aligned to launches and campaigns
- Scale athlete and creator programs into a structured cultural channel
- Embed creators into organic and paid storytelling
- Strengthen community engagement and brand affinity
- Lead go-to-market storytelling for key product launches
- Partner with Growth to align brand and performance execution
- Build repeatable campaign systems tied to product cadence
Skills
- 7–12+ years marketing experience, including senior brand/content leadership
- Experience building brand systems in consumer businesses ($50M–$500M+)
- Strong track record in integrated brand + content + storytelling
- Experience leading creator, influencer, or athlete-led programs
- Background in apparel, fitness, sport, outdoor, or lifestyle brands preferred
- Experience in high-growth or globally scaled consumer brands strongly valued
- Brand / Content Director at a global apparel or outdoor brand
- Senior brand leader in high-growth DTC or performance businesses
- Agency strategist who has led major consumer brand accounts
- Marketing leader from culturally influential sport or lifestyle brands
