[Remote] Risk and Compliance Program Manager

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Confidential company is seeking a Junior Compliance Automation Engineer to bridge the gap between technical automation and regulatory compliance. This role involves streamlining Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) efforts through scripting and AI tools, while receiving comprehensive training in compliance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Python scripts to automate repetitive compliance tasks and data workflows
• Utilize modern AI tools (e.g., Claude, GitHub Copilot, Gemini) to accelerate development, analyze data, and optimize compliance processes
• Convert unstructured documents, policies, and evidence files into structured, machine-readable formats (JSON, CSV, XML, etc.)
• Assist with both manual updates and the building of automation within Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) systems
• Actively participate in training sessions to learn complex compliance frameworks and certification requirements
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic, a commitment to high-quality work, and a passion for learning new skills
• Work independently, manage time effectively, and take ownership of tasks
• Communicate honestly, value transparency, and collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment

Skills

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or equivalent practical experience/bootcamp background
• Strong foundational knowledge of Python and general scripting concepts
• Experience using AI tools like Claude, Copilot, or similar LLMs to write code, troubleshoot, or parse information
• Understanding of how to manipulate data and convert documents into structured formats
