[Remote] Business System Analyst

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Bright Matrix Global is seeking a Business System Analyst to support various teams in gathering and analyzing business requirements. The role involves translating these requirements into functional specifications and ensuring solutions meet industry regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and system requirements
• Work closely with Member Services, Lending, Deposits, Payments, and Digital Banking teams
• Translate business requirements into user stories, process flows, and functional specifications
• Perform gap analysis, impact analysis, and root-cause analysis
• Support online banking and mobile banking enhancement projects
• Collaborate with developers, architects, QA teams, and Product Owners throughout the SDLC
• Facilitate requirements workshops and stakeholder meetings
• Create BRDs, FRDs, use cases, process maps, and acceptance criteria
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate delivered functionality
• Analyze data using SQL and assist with reporting and validation activities
• Ensure solutions align with financial industry regulations, security standards, and compliance requirements
• Support API integrations and third-party banking platforms

Skills

• 10+ years of Business Systems Analysis experience
• Strong experience in Banking, Credit Union, Financial Services, or FinTech environments
• Experience with Digital Banking Platforms
• Experience with Consumer Lending
• Experience with Deposit Operations
• Experience with Online & Mobile Banking
• Experience with Payment Processing
• Experience with Member Service Operations
• Strong requirements gathering and documentation skills
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• SQL for data analysis and validation
• Jira, Confluence, Visio, and process-mapping tools
• Excellent stakeholder communication skills
• Credit Union experience (highly preferred)
• Experience with core banking platforms such as Symitar
• Experience with core banking platforms such as Fiserv
• Experience with core banking platforms such as Jack Henry
• Experience with core banking platforms such as Corelation
• Experience with ACH, Wire Transfers, Zelle, Debit/Credit Card Operations, and Payment Systems
• Knowledge of NCUA regulations and financial compliance standards
• Experience supporting digital transformation initiatives
