[Remote] IT Quality Assurance Analyst

They are seeking an IT Quality Assurance Analyst to collaborate with their agile development team to identify and resolve defects in their SaaS web applications, ensuring high-quality deliverables through rigorous testing and documentation processes.
Responsibilities
- Works closely with the team’s Deployment Coordinator and IT team during our monthly release process to help determine the readiness of the release and communicate status of any defects identified pre-release
- Works with developers and IT to help reproduce production defects in a QA environment, document root cause and validate the fix
- Responsible for Maintaining and Execution of Test Cases
- Responsible for the development of Test documentation to include Test Cases, Test Plans, Test Reports and Testing Notes
- Produce and maintain test coverage reports for functional and automation coverage
- GIT Source Code Control Software
- Track tests in test case management
- Work with stories and bugs in tracking Software (JIRA, Zephyr Scale, Azure DevOps, etc.)
- Conduct testing, including creating, maintaining, executing, and evaluating the following: SQL code as part of data setup
- Smoke Tests
- Acceptance Test Cases
- Regression Tests
- Release Test Cases Log and retest defects
- Verify test results in manual and automated testing
Skills
- Associate's Degree preferred; minimum of High School diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 2 years of firsthand work experience with IT quality assurance and testing of highly configurable web applications with significant size, scope and complexity is required
- Familiar with agile development, quality assurance principles, inspection techniques and testing procedures, test result documentation
- Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
- Passion for automated testing techniques or a strong desire to learn them
- Must understand complete SDLC
- Must be able to pass all security clearances mandated by various government contracts as well as client hospital/healthcare security requirements
- Any employee working on government projects will be required to successfully pass a government background check and receive a Common Access Card (CAC)
- Additionally, the applicant must be a U.S. citizen and will be subject to a Public Trust security background investigation and must meet requirements to obtain a Department of Defense (DOD) network account
- QA certification (e.g. CSTE Certified Software Test Engineer)
- Experience working in a healthcare environment
- Programming knowledge with C# or a strong desire to learn would be a plus
