[Remote] Account Executive - SMB
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Starbridge is a rapidly growing company seeking a dynamic Account Executive to manage a high-volume book of smaller companies selling into the SLED market. The role involves driving sales excellence, building strategic relationships, collaborating cross-functionally, and consistently achieving sales targets.
Responsibilities
- Drive Sales Excellence: Manage a high volume of deals with short sales cycles. You'll run more at-bats than a typical AE and win on speed and consistency
- Build Strategic Relationships: Build relationships with founders, owners, and sales leaders at smaller companies that sell to government, positioning Starbridge as the engine for their pipeline
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with our product, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure client satisfaction and inform product development
- Achieve and Exceed Targets: Consistently meet and surpass sales quotas, contributing to the company's overall success
Skills
- Proven Sales Experience: Minimum 2 years of successful experience in a closing role, preferably within B2B SaaS
- Strong Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to articulate value propositions and negotiate effectively
- Systems Thinking: Successfully building and demoing the Starbridge platform is like putting together a puzzle for your customers. No solutions engineers help here to answer the 'tough' questions. The right candidate will be excited about this challenge
- Adaptability: Comfortable in a dynamic environment and able to pivot strategies as needed
- Bachelor's Degree: Required; field of study is flexible
