[Remote] Sales Account Executive

Connell Equipment Leasing Company (CELCO) is seeking a relationship-focused Sales Account Executive to support the continued growth of their material handling equipment remarketing business. This role involves managing customer accounts, building long-term relationships, and identifying new business opportunities while collaborating with internal departments to ensure successful customer outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain a large portfolio of strategic customer accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for all account-related needs
- Build and strengthen long-term client relationships through consistent communication, responsiveness, and exceptional service
- Develop a thorough understanding of customer operations and equipment needs, to provide effective solutions and support
- Identify new opportunities to expand our existing customer base through new relationships across the United States
- Collaborate with internal departments including sales, operations, and administration to ensure successful customer outcomes
- Coordinate equipment solutions, customer requests, documentation, and account activity throughout the customer lifecycle
- Maintain accurate account records, customer communications, and activity tracking within company systems
- Represent CELCO with professionalism and integrity while serving as a trusted advisor to customers and business partners
Skills
- Three to five or more years of foundational and adaptable experience in client account management, customer relationship management, business development, equipment sales, upscale service environments, or related client-facing roles
- Proven ability to manage a portfolio of customer accounts while delivering exceptional service, responsiveness, and long-term relationship management
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, are required
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to establish trust and credibility through consistent follow-through, sound judgment, professionalism, and industry expertise
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple customer relationships, opportunities, and competing priorities simultaneously
- Some demonstrated experience managing customer relationships within the heavy equipment, construction, transportation, industrial equipment rental, or related industries
