[Remote] Workforce Development & Education Chair (Volunteer)

Guideship is a nonprofit workforce development organization dedicated to creating career pathways for underserved communities through various educational initiatives. The Workforce Development & Education Chair will provide strategic guidance on educational programming, workforce readiness, and participant outcomes, ensuring that programs align with workforce needs.
Responsibilities
- Advise on educational and workforce development strategies
- Support curriculum and program quality
- Assist with apprenticeship and workforce partnerships
- Review participant outcomes and performance metrics
- Support grant development and educational partnerships
- Help identify opportunities for program expansion
Skills
- Experience with workforce development programs
- Understanding of educational pathways and adult learning
- Commitment to economic mobility and educational opportunity
- Community college leader, educator, workforce development executive, apprenticeship specialist, or training professional
