[Remote] Digital Analytics Intern

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Yamaha Corporation is seeking a motivated Digital Analytics Intern to join their Web Analytics team. This role involves analyzing performance across digital platforms to help shape marketing strategies and enhance customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the analysis of website traffic, user behavior, and performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console
• Assist in developing reports and dashboards on digital campaign performance, website usage, and customer engagement
• Contribute to the enhancement of data collection, tagging, analysis, and visualization practices
• Work on A/B testing and other experiments to optimize user experience and increase conversion rates
• Collaborate with Development and other cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and accessibility

Skills

• Must be a junior or senior from an accredited university OR have graduated within a year with a degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, Music Business, Data Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Economics, Communications or a combination thereof
• Must be able to work full time (M-F 8:30-5pm) during internship
• Experience with site analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics)
• Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• A passion for music and technology
• Experience presenting information to key stakeholders
• Familiarity with digital marketing channel tactics (e.g., CRM, SEO, CPC, Social) and measurement
• Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or similar data visualization tool
• Experience with Google Tag Manager or similar tag management solution
• Knowledge of RegEx, JavaScript, SQL, or HTML (Elements/CSS/DataLayer)
• Familiarity with ETL (Extract/Transform/Load) tools
• Social media marketing and/or advertising experience
• Appreciation of music and sound
