Operations Specialist
Wealth Enhancement is an independent wealth management firm focused on enriching clients' lives through personalized financial planning. The Operations Specialist will support acquisition data integration and serve as a liaison for custodial access and advisor team setup.
Responsibilities
- Establish data connectivity with custodian/data aggregators
- Review and reconcile account data received due to account assignment process
- Communicate transition timelines and provide reports to internal departments
- Data entry account attributes in portfolio accounting system for newly acquired office, ensuring data conforms, to WEG (Wealth Enhancement Group) standards
- Resolve outstanding issues related to missing data/account
- Process requests for system access for internal users and portfolio accounting portal
- Process requests for new master, G#, rep codes
- Maintain and update central list of firm rep codes/masters etc. with our custodians
- Provide internal “customer” support, quickly responding to a high volume of time sensitive questions and requests from multiple internal teams
- Support regulatory audits and ADV reporting requirements
- Generates / request reports from custodians to assist with ADV reporting requirements
- Conducts periodic quality reviews to ensure data in portfolio accounting system is presented accurately for ADV reporting and GIPS reporting
- Works with manager to resolve data integrity issues
- Other projects as assigned by Operations
Skills
- 1-3 years of professional office or administrative experience, preferably within financial services
- Organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to prioritize workflow and projects
- Strong analytical and general computer skills with problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and related software
- Strong Excel skills required
- Familiarity with Salesforce preferred
