Financial Analyst

Zegna is a global leader in luxury menswear, founded in 1910 in the Italian Alps. They are seeking a Financial Analyst based in New York to serve as a financial business partner to various departments, providing analytical insights and participating in the monthly reporting, forecasting, and budgeting processes.

Responsibilities

• Account analysis, monthly reporting, forecasting and budgeting
• Coordination with various business functions to make sure projects and plans are aligned and are working in-sync across their business
• Development and implementation of new processes, policies, systems and tools to improve effectiveness and efficiency
• Liaise with the finance organization, including accounting, to make sure accuracy and timeliness of reporting and invoice processing
• Become proficient at all related financial systems
• Other special projects, as required

Skills

• Strong computer skills: Excel a must, SAP strongly desired and Cognos a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required
• Minimum of 1-2 years related experience
• Analytical, detail oriented
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to problem solve and multi-task
• Team player
• Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with different levels in the organization
