Senior Crypto Quantitative Analyst

Our client, a prominent player in the digital asset management sector, is looking for a highly analytical and data-driven Senior Crypto Quantitative Analyst to join their dynamic team in Atlanta, Georgia . This role requires a deep understanding of financial markets, advanced statistical modeling, and a passion for the cryptocurrency and blockchain space. You will be responsible for developing and implementing sophisticated trading strategies, risk management models, and performing in-depth market research to identify investment opportunities. This hybrid position offers the flexibility to work both remotely and from our state-of-the-art office, fostering collaboration and innovation. Responsibilities: Develop, backtest, and deploy quantitative trading strategies for digital assets. Design and implement advanced statistical and machine learning models for market prediction and analysis. Conduct rigorous data analysis on large datasets related to cryptocurrency markets. Build and maintain risk management frameworks to mitigate potential losses. Collaborate with traders and portfolio managers to align strategies with investment objectives. Research and evaluate new blockchain technologies, protocols, and asset classes. Generate regular reports and presentations on market trends, strategy performance, and risk exposures. Identify alpha-generating opportunities through fundamental and quantitative research. Monitor the performance of all deployed strategies and make necessary adjustments. Stay current with regulatory changes and industry best practices in the crypto space. Qualifications: Master's or PhD in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or Finance. 5+ years of experience in quantitative finance, algorithmic trading, or a similar analytical role. Proven experience with Python, R, or similar statistical programming languages. Strong knowledge of financial markets, derivatives, and portfolio management principles. Expertise in statistical modeling, time-series analysis, and machine learning techniques. Familiarity with cryptocurrency markets, blockchain technology, and digital asset trading. Experience with large-scale data processing and database management (SQL). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, both independently and collaboratively.
