Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Remote Customer Service Support Representative to become an integral part of our Client Accounts Receivable (AR) and Customer Service team within the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) division. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for physician offices, hospital laboratories, patients, and internal stakeholders, ensuring that billing inquiries, claim denials, and eligibility questions are resolved quickly, accurately, and with a focus on delivering a world‑class experience.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Interaction & Issue Resolution

  • Respond to inbound calls, emails, and chat messages from physicians, insurance representatives, and patients with empathy, clarity, and professionalism.
  • Interpret Explanation of Benefits (EOB) documents, insurance correspondence, and claim status reports to identify root causes of denials or delays.
  • Utilize arenaflex’s proprietary billing tools to verify eligibility, check claim status, and retrieve detailed billing information.
  • Document every interaction in the CRM system, ensuring a complete audit trail for each claim and maintaining compliance with HIPAA and internal policies.
  • Escalate complex or high‑impact issues to senior team members or the appropriate department while keeping the customer informed of progress.

Process Improvement & Compliance

  • Follow approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to update claim information, submit corrections, and close out denied claims.
  • Continuously evaluate existing SOPs and policies, providing actionable recommendations that streamline workflows and reduce turnaround time.
  • Handle all sensitive patient and payer information with the utmost confidentiality, adhering to privacy regulations and arenaflex’s security standards.
  • Participate in regular quality assurance reviews, contributing insights that help raise the overall service level of the contact center.

Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing

  • Partner with internal billing, finance, and clinical teams to resolve multi‑faceted issues that may span several departments.
  • Provide product education to clients, explaining arenaflex’s billing solutions, portal functionalities, and best practices for claim submission.
  • Assist in the onboarding and training of new remote agents, sharing tips for effective communication and efficient claim handling.

Essential Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in healthcare administration, business, or related fields is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote environment, managing time, priorities, and workload without direct supervision.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex billing concepts in plain language.
  • Basic understanding of medical billing terminology, insurance processes, and claim lifecycle (experience in a medical call center is advantageous).
  • Proficiency with standard office software (Microsoft Office Suite, web browsers) and comfort navigating multiple software platforms simultaneously.
  • Reliable high‑speed internet connection (minimum 50 Mbps download) and a dedicated, wired Ethernet connection; Wi‑Fi or mobile hotspot setups are not acceptable.
