[Remote] Sales Account Manager (m/f/d)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Bruker is enabling scientists to make breakthrough discoveries and develop new applications that improve the quality of human life. The Sales Account Manager will be responsible for selling a portfolio of scientific instruments and developing sales growth strategies while maintaining positive customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Selling a portfolio of our scientific instruments, accessories and upgrades to meet or exceed sales targets for all the Business Units in your sales territory
- Sales territory strategic and tactical planning and execution
- Regular reporting on status and progress to Sales Manager
- Develop and execute sales growth strategies
- Own a direct sales territory and work with sales applications team and field assistants
- Prospecting to generate leads, qualifying leads, visiting customers and following a defined sales process up until purchase order
- Product presentations at conferences, seminars, workshops and customer sites as required
- Develop a strong understanding of competitive and funding landscape within the territory
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, ability to establish collaborations with key customers
- Feedback to BNSM sales management on the development and execution of sales strategy
- Regular and accurate sales forecasting via CRM
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned at a later time

- Solid understanding of surface measurement techniques
- Competent PC skills, particularly with MS office software
- Able to travel both domestically and internationally on short notice
- Bachelor's degree in Physics, Materials Science or Engineering or other Scientific discipline
- Ability to grow and take additional responsibilities
- Up to 60% travel as required to support the role
- Knowledge of optical profilometry, Ellipsometry and Reflectometry preferred
- Sales experience in related field desired
