[Remote] Staff Full Stack Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Zus Health is a shared health data platform focused on accelerating healthcare data interoperability. They are seeking a Staff Full Stack Engineer to build and operate web applications, collaborate with various teams, and provide technical leadership while aligning technical strategies with business priorities.
Responsibilities
- Build and operate web applications and the APIs that power them
- Collaborate with non-technical members to iteratively prototype and develop new customer features
- Work across Engineering teams to maintain and improve shared AWS infrastructure
- Grow projects from design to betas and upgrade betas to use at scale
- Provide technical leadership, contributing to the architecture and design of the teams systems
- Guide all team members to follow good engineering practices
- Partner with product managers and outside stakeholders to align technical strategy with business priorities
Skills

- Experienced in building and scaling high quality consumer-facing UIs
- Familiar with our tech stack [React, Tailwind CSS, Typescript, Go, Python, REST, GraphQL, Terraform, AWS, Docker]
- Experience with the tools that support our work [Amplitude, Sigma, Auth0, Metaplane, DataDog, Claude Code, Atlassian]
- Knowledgeable about application security & HITRUST compliance
- Experienced in working with HIPAA-compliant APIs
- Familiar with the FHIR R4 Standards and/or TEFCA standards
- Optimistic about how AI can enhance products and assist in building them
