[Remote] Software Engineer at Uservoice

Skills

• 3+ years of professional development experience, with a good mix of back-end and front-end skills
• You're genuinely excited about applying AI/ML techniques to analyze large qualitative data sets — not as a buzzword, but as a real tool for surfacing insight at scale
• You thrive when the problem isn't fully defined. You can navigate uncertainty, make reasonable bets, and iterate toward clarity rather than waiting for perfect requirements
• You're drawn to unexplored territory — whether that's a new technique, an unfamiliar codebase, or a question nobody's asked yet. You explore, form hypotheses, and share what you find
• Quick to learn new codebases with minimal guidance
• You voice your ideas on engineering, product development, and company operations
• Always searching for the best solutions while considering project goals
• Comfortable with broad requirements and able to work with evolving specifications
• Go, Ruby on Rails, React, Tailwind CSS, Angular
• Knowledge of both relational and non-relational databases
• Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes
• Experience with AI/LLM tooling, prompt engineering, or applying machine learning techniques to unstructured text — and the curiosity to go deeper
