[Remote] Healthcare Business Development Lead

They are seeking a Business Development Lead to help grow their Examine Clinician Edition among healthcare professionals, clinics, and organizations, focusing on sales and building the early sales motion.
Responsibilities
- Sell Examine Clinician Edition to healthcare professionals, clinics, teams, and organizations
- Run outbound outreach, discovery calls, demos, follow-ups, and closing conversations
- Help identify which segments to prioritize, including physicians, dietitians, integrative practitioners, clinics, libraries, and healthcare organizations
- Explore group access, clinic/team plans, partnerships, and enterprise opportunities
- Represent Examine in conversations with professional organizations, associations, conferences, and potential partners
- Help develop sales messaging, qualification criteria, objection handling, and follow-up processes
- Share prospect and customer feedback with the product team
- Help us understand customer needs around supplement safety, drug-supplement interactions, protocols, handouts, and clinical workflows
Skills
- Experience in sales, business development, partnerships, or account management
- Experience selling to healthcare professionals, clinics, health systems, libraries, professional associations, or other B2B healthcare buyers
- Comfort working in an early-stage environment where the sales process is still being developed
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to explain a research-heavy product clearly and credibly
- Good judgment, high trustworthiness, and low hype
- Interest in evidence-based nutrition, supplements, clinical decision support, or healthcare education
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Existing relationships with clinicians, physicians, dietitians, integrative medicine practices, libraries, healthcare organizations, or professional associations
- Experience selling SaaS, research products, clinical tools, databases, or healthcare information products
- Experience with founder-led sales or building an early sales motion from scratch
- Comfort with conferences, partnerships, and relationship-driven sales
- Familiarity with supplements, nutrition, drug-supplement safety, or evidence-based medicine
