[Remote] Director, Business Development

The Director of Business Development will grow the business by prospecting new clients, protect the base renewal business, and provide support to SPOTLIGHT clients.


Responsibilities

  • Grow the business by prospecting new clients and logos for Claritas
  • Protect the base renewal business and provide support to SPOTLIGHT clients
  • Upsell clients with new solutions to grow revenue
  • Maintain active involvement with Account Managers, SMEs, and Product Teams to ensure internal alignment and client satisfaction
  • Participate in industry and company learning to expand skills, knowledge, and capabilities

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • Strong sales experience, proven record of quota attainment. Strong command of sales processes
  • Marketing Services, Marketing and Advertising Technology, Agency, or related field experience
  • Command of Digital marketing concepts and firm understanding of the digital partner ecosystem
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent collaborative and influencing skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Desire to work in a team environment
  • Excellent organizational skills with high degree of attention to detail
  • Excellent ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Strong working knowledge of acquisition email, digital and social campaigns
  • Channel sales/third party partner management
  • Working knowledge of third-party licensing and royalty/revenue share business models
  • Experience with Sales and Marketing automation tools and environments such as Salesforce
