[Remote] Data Reconciliation Analyst
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. RAKE Digital Company serves the Human Capital Management (HCM) industry with a focus on client funds reconciliation. As a Data Reconciliation Analyst, you will manage a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring accurate and timely reconciliation of funds while driving product development through feedback.
Responsibilities
- Own your full-service accounts. Serve as the primary reconciliation analyst for an assigned portfolio of full-service clients, building a genuine partnership with each one and delivering excellent service
- Run daily reconciliation in Finlee. Perform daily bank, ledger, and subledger reconciliation for your clients' funds accounts, ensuring penny-level accuracy and timely completion
- Monitor balances and resolve exceptions. Track account balances, identify variances and positive/negative subledger balances, research root causes, and resolve discrepancies with reliability and integrity
- Handle the full reconciliation lifecycle — beginning balance reconciliation at onboarding, ongoing daily reconciliation, and specialized items such as benefits reconciliation
- Handle large volumes of data efficiently, maintaining accuracy and data integrity across every process
- Drive product development. Use the platform daily and give the Finlee team real-time, practical feedback to improve workflows and features
- Be an integral part of Operations, performing back-office reconciliation services for HCM providers and collaborating across the team

- Analytical skills — Able to analyze and interpret financial data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations
- Attention to detail — Strong eye for accuracy; able to identify and resolve reconciliation discrepancies to the penny

- Organizational skills — Manages a portfolio of accounts and competing daily deadlines without dropping detail
- Operations mindset — Comfortable optimizing day-to-day processes and improving efficiency
- Experience in client funds reconciliation, bank reconciliation, payroll, or accounting operations
- Background in the HCM, payroll, or financial services industry
- Familiarity with payroll/HCM platforms (e.g., UKG/MasterTax/iSolved, etc.) a plus
- Proficiency with reconciliation software and spreadsheet tools
- Associate's or Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
