[Remote] National Account Manager

The National Account Manager role involves maintaining and expanding relationships with key customer groups while achieving sales quotas and strategic objectives, ensuring a positive customer experience, and collaborating with internal teams.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain business relationships with key decision makers and act as a primary point of contact to achieve sales quotas and strategic objectives with assigned customers, prioritizing proactive partners as defined and updated in our strategy as appropriate
- Establish and maintain relationships with key contacts at major manufacturer partners
- Proactively explore strategies and tactics to further integrate with the customers and leverage the full suite of Vetsource solutions
- Represent Vetsource in a professional manner that results in a positive customer experience
- Regularly meet with customers to ensure needs are being met and issues are resolved in a timely manner
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and build positive working relationships with internal partners to ensure positive partner experiences and successful delivery of client products/services, including the coordination of key manufacturer meetings requesting Category Management support as needed
- Remain up to date on industry trends to strategize with partners
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field or equivalent work experience/training
- 5+ years of experience in direct B2B sales within the animal health industry or equivalent experience
- Experience working with veterinary groups and manufacturers
- Demonstrated success in building, managing, and strengthening long-term customer and partner relationships
- Proficient in using CRM software (Salesforce preferred) to manage pipelines, track account activity, and generate insights
- Reliable internet access
- Sitting/standing at a desk working on a computer for long periods of time
- Up to 30% travel required
