[Remote] WordPress Full Stack Developer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. PartnerOne is looking for a talented and motivated WordPress Full Stack Developer to join their growing team. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain high-performance WordPress websites and web applications, collaborating closely with design and product teams to deliver outstanding digital experiences.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop custom WordPress themes and plugins tailored to client requirements
- Build and maintain websites using page builder tools including Elementor, Divi Builder, and Visual Composer
- Write clean, well-structured PHP code and maintain MySQL databases
- Optimize websites for speed, performance, and Core Web Vitals compliance
- Debug and troubleshoot front-end and back-end issues with strong analytical thinking
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement responsive, cross-browser-compatible interfaces
- Maintain website security, perform updates, and handle backups
- Integrate third-party APIs, tools, and services as needed
- Understanding of SEO best practices and structured data markup
Skills
- 3–4 years of professional WordPress development experience
- Proficiency with Elementor, Divi Builder, and Visual Composer / WPBakery
- Strong understanding of the WordPress theme and plugin ecosystem
- Experience building and customizing custom themes from scratch
- Ability to develop custom plugins for extended functionality
- Strong proficiency in PHP (OOP and procedural) for WordPress development
- Solid experience with MySQL — schema design, query optimization, and management
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and jQuery
- Familiarity with REST APIs and JSON data structures
- Hands-on experience optimizing websites for Core Web Vitals (LCP, FID, CLS)
- Knowledge of caching strategies, CDN configuration, and image optimization
- Experience with tools such as Google PageSpeed Insights, GTmetrix, or Lighthouse
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills across the full stack
- Ability to diagnose performance bottlenecks and implement effective solutions
- Experience with browser developer tools and error logging systems
- Experience with Laravel or CodeIgniter PHP frameworks
- Familiarity with HubSpot CMS development and templates
- Knowledge of version control systems, especially Git
- Experience with WooCommerce or other e-commerce platforms
