[Remote] SkinCeuticals Business Development Manager - Mid-Atlantic

The Business Development Manager for SkinCeuticals will focus on driving growth in the Mid-Atlantic region by building strong relationships with dermatologists and aesthetic teams while developing new strategic partnerships to expand brand presence.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage strong business relationships with dermatologists, plastic surgeons, medspa owners, practice managers, and aesthetic teams within current SkinCeuticals Flagship and Strategic Partner accounts
- Drive holistic practice growth, encompassing patient journey, staff engagement, treatment protocols, and retail business development — for each assigned partner
- Analyze existing business performance and patient journey within flagship and strategic partner accounts to develop customized business plans and strategic plans of action aligned to growth goals
- Identify, pursue, and onboard new strategic partnerships that will deliver exponential brand growth and accelerated market exposure within the territory
- Develop and implement effective 360° in-office and digital marketing strategies to drive strong sellout and achieve assigned growth targets for each partner
- Partner with the SkinCeuticals Flagship Support team (marketing, logistics, digital, and medical affairs) to coordinate all aspects of program launches, activations, and trainings
- Work very closely and collaboratively with local Account Executives, Regional Sales Directors, and Area Business Unit leads to ensure full field alignment with flagship and strategic partner business plans
- Serve as a proactive, solutions-oriented resource for internal stakeholders — communicating clearly, following up diligently, and driving initiatives through to completion
- Contribute to a culture of transparency, accountability, and shared success across all cross-functional teams
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent practice management experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in aesthetic medical sales, practice management, or business development within cosmetic dermatology, plastic surgery, or medspa environments
- Proven track record of B2B sales success, collaborative account growth, and measurable business results
- Strong understanding of retail programs, strategies, and sell-through drivers
- Exceptional communicator — written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to engage credibly at all levels, from front desk staff to physician partners and C-suite stakeholders
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of attention to follow-up and follow-through; nothing falls through the cracks
- Solution-oriented and creative problem solver — brings new thinking to challenges and proactively identifies opportunities before they become obstacles
- Highly collaborative — thrives working alongside Account Executives, Regional Sales Directors, and Area Business Unit leads; builds internal relationships with the same care as external ones
- Strong business acumen — ability to monitor, analyze, interpret, and communicate business information with clarity and confidence
- High emotional intelligence (EQ) — able to navigate complex interpersonal dynamics with physicians, practice staff, and internal teams with empathy and professionalism
- Deep understanding of the aesthetic marketplace, including devices, injectables, retail, and competitive brands
- Must have the ability and genuine enthusiasm for travel — this is a travel-intensive role requiring up to 70% travel within the territory
- Strong knowledge and daily use experience with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Desire to grow — in alignment with L'Oréal's core commitment to people development, the ideal candidate will demonstrate ambition to expand their role, deepen their expertise, and grow with the SkinCeuticals brand and division over time
- Experience in digital e-commerce and marketing is a strong plus
- Residing in a territory hub city is strongly preferred (Washington, DC, Charlotte, NC or Raleigh/Durham, NC)
