[Remote] Security Engineer

The role involves supporting enterprise security operations, assisting with threat management, and collaborating with various teams to enhance security posture.

Responsibilities

• Support and enhance enterprise security operations and security technologies
• Assist with email security administration and threat management
• Participate in security investigations, incident response activities, and threat analysis
• Support identity and access management initiatives
• Assist with vulnerability identification, remediation, and security improvement efforts
• Collaborate with infrastructure, operations, and technology teams to strengthen security posture
• Help identify opportunities to automate repetitive processes and improve operational efficiency
• Research emerging security threats, technologies, and best practices
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and proactive security thinking

Skills

• Experience with cybersecurity operations or security engineering
• Experience with email security platforms (Mimecast experience is a plus)
• Experience with incident response or threat analysis
• Experience with vulnerability management
• Experience with Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) technologies
• Experience with Identity and Access Management
• Experience with Linux or Windows administration
• Experience with Python, scripting, or automation
• Experience with cloud technologies
• Experience with AI tools, automation, or personal technology projects
