[Remote] Vice President of Account Management

Select Search Group is a high-growth, PE-backed vertical SaaS company seeking a VP of Account Management to lead customer expansion efforts. The role involves managing a team of account managers, driving revenue retention, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance the company's growth strategy.
Responsibilities
- Own GRR and NRR targets — and the strategy to hit them
- Coach and develop your AM team with a bias toward sales-minded, customer-first execution
- Build and refine the playbooks, processes, and comp structures that drive consistent expansion
- Partner cross-functionally with product, marketing, and CS to align the expansion motion with the roadmap
- Bring forecasting rigor and clear reporting cadence to the CRO and board
Skills
- 8+ years in account management or customer success, with at least 3 in a leadership role at a vertical SaaS company
- A track record of improving NRR in a product-led or sales-assisted expansion model
- Strong coaching instincts — you develop people, not just manage them
- Comfortable in a metrics-driven, PE-backed environment where the bar is high and expectations are clear
- Experience designing or refining comp plans, coverage models, and renewal processes from scratch
