[Remote] Strategic Accounts Manager 4

Red Hat is the world’s leading provider of enterprise open source software solutions, and they are seeking a Strategic Accounts Manager to lead a territory of named enterprise accounts. This role involves increasing overall business performance by building relationships with decision makers and aligning Red Hat's solutions to customer needs.
Responsibilities
- Build and deliver on account strategy, coordinate selling motions, and achieve successful outcomes for your named accounts
- Identify and lead new opportunities to increase upsell, cross-sell, and renewals
- Understand your customer’s business and align Red Hat capabilities to customer’s needs
- Sell the complete Red Hat portfolio of solutions within assigned enterprise accounts
- Maintain and develop new relationships within your assigned accounts, and establish Red Hat as a strategic partner with your customers
- Lead a matrixed team of technical sales and other specialists, while managing complex sales cycles from prospecting to closing
- Achieve success by meeting and exceeding key performance indicators (KPIs), including revenue and bookings targets, increasing new bookings and renewal rates, and ensuring customer satisfaction
Skills
- 7+ years of enterprise software sales experience
- Experience selling to Fortune 500 customers in direct and partner sales models
- Understand subscription based software and renewal selling
- Experience using sales methodologies like MEDDPICC, The Challenger Sale, Solution Selling, etc
- Experience and passion for open source software
- Knowledge of the Red Hat software portfolio or equivalent competitive experience ideal
- Solid leadership and communication skills to mobilize colleagues and partners
- Excellent relationship skills with record of establishing trust and confidence with customers and teammates
- Willingness to travel up to 50%
- Candidates who live in or near Southern Michigan areas
