The role involves leading engagements in the medical device sector, providing expertise in market access and reimbursement, and contributing to business development while fostering strong client relationships.


Responsibilities

  • Lead and support medical device market access and reimbursement engagements, bringing hands-on expertise to client work and helping ensure high-quality delivery across projects
  • Contribute senior-level insight in client conversations, acting as a credible subject matter expert in reimbursement and market access within the medical device space
  • Participate in commercial discussions where appropriate, including helping shape opportunities, supporting proposals, and contributing to the growth of client accounts
  • Leverage prior experience in winning market access and reimbursement work to support business development efforts and help expand the practice in a measured, realistic way
  • Build strong internal and external relationships that support trust, effective delivery, and long-term collaboration across engagements
  • Contribute to a team environment that values credibility, flexibility, and senior-level partnership in serving clients and growing the business

Skills

  • 7+ years of experience in market access and reimbursement, with a clear emphasis on the medical device sector
  • Strong hands-on consulting or field-based experience, with the ability to speak credibly about the practical realities of market access and reimbursement work
  • Senior-level presence and communication skills, with the confidence to engage effectively with clients, colleagues, and leadership
  • A background that demonstrates more than oversight alone; we are looking for someone who has personally done the work and can continue to contribute directly
  • Prior exposure to business development activity, such as helping win work, supporting commercial discussions, or contributing to revenue generation
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with execution, especially in an environment where senior hires are expected to make an immediate impact
  • Comfort working in a collaborative, relationship-driven team where fit, trust, and camaraderie matter alongside technical capability
  • A practical, mature, and adaptable approach to work, with the judgment expected of a director-level professional
  • Interest in joining a growing function where responsibilities may span client delivery, team support, and broader practice contribution
  • Proven expertise in medical device market access and reimbursement at a senior level
  • A solid track record of working directly on market access and reimbursement matters rather than only managing projects or teams from a distance
  • Experience operating in consulting or client-facing environments where you have had to apply subject matter expertise in a practical, solutions-oriented way
  • Ability to support or lead complex client interactions with professionalism, clarity, and sound commercial judgment
  • Evidence that you can contribute to business development efforts, including supporting or helping secure new work
  • Strong understanding of how senior market access professionals add value across both delivery and client relationship development
  • Capability to work independently while also partnering closely with leadership and peers in a high-trust environment
  • A collaborative mindset and the interpersonal style to build strong working relationships across a senior team
  • Flexibility to operate in a role that may include both strategic contribution and operational involvement, depending on business needs and individual strengths
  • Relevant academic and professional background aligned with healthcare, life sciences, market access, reimbursement, or a related field
