[Remote] Director, CRM Marketing
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. PrizePicks is the fastest-growing sports company in North America, recognized for its leading platform in Daily Fantasy Sports. The Director of CRM Marketing will own and lead the end-to-end CRM function, focusing on driving activation, engagement, and retention through targeted, data-driven messaging while leading a high-performing team and collaborating cross-functionally.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of advanced segmentation frameworks and targeting logic to deliver highly relevant messaging
- Own personalization strategy across channels, leveraging behavioral, transactional, and predictive data
- Continuously refine audience strategies to improve engagement, conversion, and retention outcomes
- Drive forward real-time messaging capabilities and effectiveness
- Oversee planning and execution of CRM campaigns across all owned channels (email, push, SMS, in-app)
- Drive channel optimization strategies, ensuring the right message reaches the right player at the right time
- Partner with Creative and Brand teams to ensure messaging aligns with voice, tone, and brand standards
- Own the CRM testing roadmap, including A/B and multivariate testing strategies
- Establish a culture of experimentation to continuously improve campaign performance and player experience
- Leverage insights from testing to inform broader marketing and product strategies
- Partner closely with Product and REI teams to support retention and reactivation initiatives
- Collaborate with Analytics to define success metrics, measure lift, and identify growth opportunities
- Align with broader Marketing (Creative, Social, Product Marketing) to ensure cohesive player communication
- Define and track KPIs tied to engagement, participation, retention, and incremental lift
- Evaluate CRM effectiveness based on its ability to drive meaningful behavioral change
- Provide regular reporting and strategic recommendations to senior leadership
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing CRM team
- Establish clear priorities, workflows, and accountability across the function
- Foster a data-driven, test-and-learn culture within the team
Skills
- 8–12+ years of experience in CRM, retention, or performance marketing, within gaming, DFS, or sports betting is a plus
- Proven experience leading CRM strategy and teams at scale
- Deep expertise in segmentation, targeting, and personalization strategies
- Strong experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms (Braze highly preferred)
- Experience in managing a broader CRM tech stack
- Demonstrated ability to build testing roadmaps and drive data-informed decision-making
- Strong analytical mindset with experience leveraging data to drive marketing performance
- Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Analytics, and Marketing teams
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Familiarity with DFS or sports gaming industry strongly preferred
