[Remote] Head of Marketing (Remote, USA or Las Vegas, NV)

PokerAtlas is an emerging leader in the gaming technology industry, serving the needs of real-money poker players and operators with innovative software solutions. They are seeking a Head of Marketing to own marketing across their product portfolio, launching and scaling programs for both B2C and B2B audiences while building a marketing team as the company grows.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies across multiple PokerAtlas products and initiatives, spanning both B2C (players) and B2B (casino and card room operators) audiences
- Serve as the company’s first dedicated marketing hire; build and scale the marketing function over time, including defining team structure, hiring, and managing future marketing staff
- Own all email marketing efforts: campaign strategy, copywriting, list management, segmentation, automation, and performance optimization
- Build and manage social media presence and community engagement across relevant platforms, with a focus on growing and activating PokerAtlas’s player and operator communities
- Design and implement member acquisition and retention programs, including referral and loyalty initiatives
- Develop and manage content marketing efforts across multiple formats and channels
- Own brand voice, messaging, and positioning across all PokerAtlas products and communications; develop go-to-market strategies for new products, features, and programs
- Support partner-facing and co-marketing efforts in coordination with the Business Development team
- Lead the strategy and production of marketing collateral across all brands and product lines, managing agencies, designers, and freelancers as needed
- Plan and lead marketing efforts for company presence at industry conferences and trade shows, including booth coordination, promotional materials, and pre/post-event outreach
- Leverage AI tools and workflows to multiply individual output and operate at a scale beyond what a single hire could achieve traditionally
- Define, track, and report on key marketing KPIs; manage marketing budget with a focus on efficiency and measurable ROI
Skills
- 5–8 years of progressive marketing experience, with a mix of B2C and B2B exposure
- Proven track record of building or significantly scaling a marketing function, ideally at a growth-stage company
- Experience owning email marketing end-to-end, including platform management and list strategy
- Hands-on experience with social media marketing and community building
- Familiarity with affiliate marketing, media buying, and/or advertising partnerships
- Experience producing or launching content marketing programs, including podcasts
- Strong copywriting and communication skills across channels and audiences
- Proficiency with marketing analytics tools; comfortable defining metrics and reporting on performance
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects across different brands or product lines
- Experience managing external creative resources (agencies, designers, freelancers)
- Self-starter who thrives in a lean, fast-moving environment without a large team to delegate to
- Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to amplify output, accelerate execution, and scale marketing efforts across channels. This is not optional - it is a core expectation of the role
- Background in poker, gaming, or a closely related industry strongly preferred
- Background in membership, loyalty, or subscription marketing
- Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation platforms
- Experience with referral program design and execution
- Comfort with light graphic design tools (Canva, Figma, Adobe) for quick creative production
- Knowledge of SEO/SEM and paid digital advertising
- Experience with trade show or conference marketing
