[Remote] Senior software engineer (f/m/d, freelance or permanent)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Frieda Health is the first digital menopause clinic, combining medical expertise, AI, and gaming technology to support women through menopause. They are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to work alongside their product team, focusing on developing frontend applications and integrating backend APIs.

Responsibilities

• Implement features that span across frontend and backend systems
• Write clean, secure, maintainable code that adheres to our teams best practices
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving bugs
• Support the testing and deployment of new features via CI/CD
• Participate in code reviews to receive and provide feedback
• Collaborate with the wider engineering team, product managers, UX/UI designers, medical and regulatory experts to enhance our core products
• Enthusiasm to learn technologies you’re less familiar with

Skills

• Minimum 5 years of development experience with a strong understanding of front end development
• Proficiency in mobile or web frameworks such as Flutter, React Native, or React
• Proficiency in backend frameworks such as Spring Boot/Kotlin or a comparable stack
• Good understanding of relational databases such as MySQL, MS SQL, or PostgreSQL
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
• A passion for leveraging technology to improve health and well-being
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure technologies, docker, or CI/CD is a plus
