[Remote] DevOps Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Base-2 Solutions is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support the USSOUTHCOM J26 ENHANCED DOMAIN AWARENESS task order. This role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure management, and ensuring scalable deployments across cloud and on-premises environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines
• Automate infrastructure management
• Ensure scalable deployments across cloud and on-premises environments
• Manage container orchestration using Kubernetes and Docker
• Utilize infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform and Ansible
• Employ continuous integration tools including Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or AWS CodePipeline
• Maintain strong understanding of cloud environments including AWS, Azure, and GCP
• Apply security best practices
• Use monitoring and logging solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field OR a minimum of 5 years of equivalent experience in DevOps engineering
• Demonstrated experience deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters
• Experience automating cloud infrastructure
• Experience implementing secure, high-availability CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with microservices architecture
• Experience with service mesh technologies such as Istio and Linkerd
• Experience with observability tools
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional
• Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert
