[Remote] Remote Support Engineer, Gas Compression Systems and Industrial Engines
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. JMI Recruiting Services is assisting an industrial manufacturer in their search for a Remote Support Engineer. The role involves providing technical support for gas compression systems and industrial engines, including troubleshooting and commissioning support, while being primarily remote with some travel required.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical resource for customers and distributors, assisting with product selection, troubleshooting, and field support
- Analyze electrical schematics, drawings, and sequences of operations to diagnose and resolve field issues effectively
- Provide support for the startup and commissioning of control systems, ignition systems, and air/fuel ratio (AFR) systems on gas compression and engine packages
- Document support activities and communicate recurring issues to engineering and product teams for continuous improvement
Skills
- Proficient in working with industrial gas engines, compressors, and pumps
- Skilled in reading and interpreting electrical schematics
- Strong ability to support customers remotely and troubleshoot issues using technical drawings
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time
