[Remote] Robotics Supplier & Partnerships Specialist
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Snoonu is Qatar’s homegrown Super App, reinventing daily life with blazing-fast delivery and shopping. The Scloud & Robotics Supplier & Partnerships Specialist will identify, evaluate, and secure strategic supplier partnerships for Snoonu’s robotics initiatives, ensuring reliable partnerships that meet technical and operational requirements.
Responsibilities
- Supplier Identification & Market ScoutingIdentify robotics manufacturers, component suppliers, and technology partners across China relevant to Snoonu’s robotics initiatives
- Conduct market research to evaluate suppliers across categories such as delivery robots, warehouse automation, service robots, and robotics components
- Build and maintain a network of robotics vendors, manufacturers, and innovation partners
- Supplier Evaluation & Due DiligenceAssess suppliers based on technical capability, production capacity, quality standards, reliability, and commercial viability
- Conduct factory visits, supplier audits, and product demonstrations where required
- Work with internal technical teams to evaluate robotics capabilities and compatibility with Snoonu’s operational needs
- Commercial Negotiation & Supplier Lock-inLead negotiations on pricing, service terms, customization requirements, and partnership models
- Support contract discussions and commercial agreements with selected vendors
- Secure favorable pricing structures and supply arrangements aligned with Snoonu’s robotics roadmap
- Cross-Team CoordinationWork closely with Snoonu’s Strategy, Scloud & Robotics, and Operations teams to align supplier capabilities with project requirements
- Coordinate with engineering or technical teams during vendor evaluation and proof-of-concept phases
- Project Handover & TransitionOnce suppliers are finalized, ensure a smooth transition to the Scloud & Robotics Project Manager responsible for deployment and implementation
- Provide detailed documentation on supplier agreements, technical specifications, and project scope
- Supplier Relationship ManagementMaintain long-term relationships with robotics suppliers to support future innovation and sourcing needs
- Monitor supplier performance and recommend improvements or alternative vendors where necessary
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field
- 4–7 years of experience in supplier sourcing, procurement, partnerships, or hardware/technology supply chains
- Experience working with robotics, automation, electronics, or hardware manufacturers is strongly preferred
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
- Ability to conduct technical and commercial evaluation of vendors
- Fluency in Mandarin and English is required
