[Remote] Software Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. OncoHealth is a leading digital health company dedicated to helping health plans, employers, providers, and patients navigate the complexities of cancer through technology enabled services. The Software Engineer will work in an agile environment to design, code, test, deploy, and debug complex software applications, while leveraging AI tools to enhance development and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Develop software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle
• Perform validation and verification testing
• Participate in on-call rotations including weekends
• Actively use AI tools such as Copilot and Claude for coding, debugging, and testing
• Drive adoption of AI-first engineering practices across the team

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant experience required
• At least 6 years of experience in software engineering or relevant educational attainment required
• Advanced knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure preferred), working knowledge of No-SQL or SQL databases
• Proficient in C#.NET, React or Angular
• Experience with Agile or Scrum methodology
• Analyzing information, software design, software documentation, and testing are required skills, as well as general programming skills and software development fundamentals, development process, and requirements
• Systems/Tools: MS Office advance, Azure DevOps, or Jira
• Experience with enterprise workflow platforms
• Familiarity with CI/CD and Azure DevOps
• Exposure to AI-driven development workflows
