[Remote] Senior HubSpot Platform Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Lobster is a pioneering no-code software company that enables organizations to unlock the full potential of their data. They are seeking a Senior HubSpot Platform Engineer to own and evolve a customized HubSpot environment for their Sales, Marketing, Partner Management, and After-Sales operations across six international regions.
Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain Custom Objects, Association Labels, Pipelines, and Properties across a complex, multi-object data model
- Build and maintain complex workflows including Custom Code Actions (JavaScript), cross-object property sync, and multi-level approval chains
- Develop and maintain custom-built React-based UI Extensions (CPQ tool, deal configuration, link cards) deployed via HubSpot Serverless Functions
- Develop and maintain an external HubSpot CMS-based Partner Portal with membership logic, visibility rules, and HubDB-driven content
- Support and extend API integrations with external systems (ERP, LMS, support tools, AI services) via Operations Hub and custom code
- Maintain technical documentation for configurations, custom code, and integrations
Skills
- Several years of professional experience working deeply within the HubSpot ecosystem
- Strong experience with HubSpot CRM configuration (Custom Objects, Associations, Workflows, Properties)
- Proficiency in HubSpot CMS development (HubL, JavaScript, CSS, Custom Modules, HubDB)
- Solid React.js skills (for HubSpot UI Extensions / CRM Extensions)
- Experience with HubSpot Serverless Functions and the HubSpot API (v3/v4)
- Strong JavaScript skills across the board (Custom Code Actions, frontend, integrations)
- Experience with API integrations and Operations Hub
- Proficiency with Git-based development workflows
- Understanding of CPQ processes, approval logic, and quote generation
- Fluent in English
- German language skills
- Experience with AI integrations (OpenAI API, automated enrichment)
- HubSpot certifications (Solutions Architect, CMS Developer, or similar)
- Experience integrating HubSpot with legacy ERP/CRM systems
