[Remote] Staff Broadband Consultant

The Staff Broadband Consultant plays a crucial role in supporting engagement managers by conducting research and analysis, coordinating client meetings, and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with development of high-quality deliverables and solutions for clients in collaboration with engagement managers, subject matter experts, and project teams
- Documenting internal and external meeting notes, outcomes, and action items to facilitate effective communication across teams
- Gathering, organizing, and synthesizing data to generate qualitative and quantitative analyses to enable strategic recommendations and insights
- Providing operational support to engagement managers and senior staff by tracking action items, delivery of client materials, and project timelines
- Investigating questions or problems identified by internal and external stakeholders to support the project teams with execution of tasks
- Participating in client engagement to foster positive relationships with clients and their teams throughout the lifecycle of our engagements
- Collaborating with other CTC teams, consultants, and subject-matter experts to satisfy engagement requirements
- A flexible schedule is necessary to accommodate meetings and client needs across various time zones
Skills
- One to four years of client-facing consulting experience, demonstrating a proven ability to manage client relationships, deliver high-quality work, and navigate complex business challenges
- One to four years of demonstrable expertise across broadband policy, infrastructure funding and implementation, digital opportunity, grants management, or broadband mapping and data analysis projects
- An educational background with representative coursework and projects that demonstrate critical thinking, adaptability, problem solving, and communication skills. (e.g. engineering, business administration and management, policy)
- Practical experience coordinating with project stakeholders; aligning deliverables with expectations; anticipating and responding to stakeholder needs on tight timelines; driving quality outcomes with high-quality work product and effective communication; supporting the delivery of professional services; and working with teams at all levels, from staff to executive management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills combined with exceptional organizational skills
- Attention to detail, analytical skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to shift between multiple projects and tasks each day
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively as part of a remote team
- Flexibility to take on new tasks and manage priorities based on changing client requirements
- Desire and willingness to learn new subjects, dive deep into broadband policy and technology when needed, and continuously improve
- Competency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
- Bachelor's degree or higher
