[Remote] Director of Growth Strategy

They are seeking a Director of Growth Strategy to enhance their Customer Success organization with a focus on strategic expansion and proactive engagement with clients.
Responsibilities
- Partner with CS leadership to shape a sustainable expansion and renewal strategy
- Coach CSMs and managers on commercial mindset, value-based narratives, and navigating difficult customer conversations
- Support deal strategy, renewals, pricing discussions, and scope alignment
- Drive strong account strategies focused on outcomes, value, and stakeholder alignment
- Join customer conversations as a strategic partner for high-stakes renewals or growth discussions
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Business Partners to ensure alignment between customer value, product reality, and commercial commitments
Skills
- 8+ years of experience in Customer Success, Account Management, Commercial Strategy, Sales, or a hybrid CS/Sales role in B2B SaaS
- Proven experience leading or influencing renewals, expansions, and pricing or scope discussions
- Strong commercial judgment paired with a customer-first, consultative mindset
- Experience coaching senior ICs and people managers on deal strategy and difficult conversations
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and helping teams move from accommodation to clear recommendations
- Strategic thinker who is also highly practical and execution-oriented
