[Remote] Network Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Brooksource is a trusted IT and Engineering services provider, seeking a Network Engineer to support and enhance a global network infrastructure. This role involves maintaining network reliability, troubleshooting complex issues, and driving automation efforts across a highly available production environment.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure
• Support Arista-based switching environments
• Troubleshoot network connectivity, latency, routing, and performance issues
• Support infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and lifecycle initiatives
• Participate in incident response and root cause analysis
• Collaborate with developers, infrastructure teams, vendors, and business stakeholders
• Develop and maintain automation scripts for network operations
• Support hybrid cloud networking initiatives across on-prem and AWS environments
• Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures
• Contribute to continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives

Skills

• Strong experience supporting enterprise network environments
• Hands-on experience with Arista networking technologies and EOS
• Experience with multicast routing
• Strong understanding of routing and switching concepts (BGP, OSPF, etc.)
• Experience with Python and/or Bash scripting
• Proven troubleshooting experience within production environments
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
• Experience with NetBox
• AWS networking experience
• Experience with CloudVision
• Familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, or Infrastructure-as-Code practices
• Experience supporting financial services, trading, or other latency-sensitive environments
