[Remote] Senior Account Executive
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Journey is looking for Senior Account Executives to help grow net-new customers in the freight brokerage sector. The role involves strong account ownership, managing revenue and service KPIs, and requires operational fluency in the logistics domain.
Responsibilities
- Sales focused and Account Management
- Strong account ownership mindset (retention + growth)
- Comfortable owning revenue, margin, and service KPIs
- Experience with FAK, high-visibility or specialized freight
- Operationally fluent (can speak carrier, customer, and ops)
- Calm under pressure; proactive communicator
- Data-aware (margin, win rates, shipment trends)
- Values process, documentation, and follow-through
- Travel: ~15% (conferences, client meetings, in-person sales events)
Skills
- 3–7 years experience in freight brokerage
