[Remote] Project Analyst – POS & Payments
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. JMD Technologies Inc. is seeking a Project Analyst to support the delivery of POS and Payments programs within their IT organization. The role involves coordinating project activities, monitoring progress, and ensuring successful execution of project deliverables in collaboration with Project Managers and Product Owners.
Responsibilities
- Support the planning, execution, and delivery of POS and Payments initiatives
- Partner with Project Managers, Product Owners, and Program Managers to coordinate project activities and deliverables
- Assist with project scheduling, status reporting, documentation, and stakeholder communications
- Track project tasks, risks, issues, dependencies, and action items
- Coordinate activities across cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met
- Maintain project plans, timelines, and project documentation
- Monitor project progress and support scope, schedule, and quality management efforts
- Prepare project reports, presentations, and status updates for stakeholders
- Support process improvements and project governance activities
Skills
- 1–5 years of Project Analyst, Project Coordinator, or related project support experience
- Experience supporting IT projects, preferably within POS, Payments, or Retail Technology environments
- Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with Oracle Retail Xstore POS or comparable Point-of-Sale solutions
- Understanding of retail operations, in-store technologies, and omnichannel commerce
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Retail industry experience is highly preferred
