[Remote] Senior React Engineer (Full Stack / AI / Azure)

They are seeking a Senior React Engineer to lead the design and development of scalable frontend applications, focusing on user experience and cloud-native technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and build modern, responsive web applications using React
• Develop highly reusable, scalable component libraries and design systems
• Own frontend architecture decisions, including state management, performance optimization, and code organization
• Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and cross-browser/device compatibility
• Partner closely with product and design teams to deliver intuitive, polished user experiences
• Implement best practices in accessibility, usability, and frontend performance
• Integrate frontend applications with Python-based backend services (FastAPI, Django, Flask)
• Collaborate on API design to ensure efficient, scalable frontend consumption
• Contribute to backend development when needed, particularly for UI-driven features
• Build and deploy applications within a Microsoft Azure environment
• Work with cloud-native architectures, including APIs, serverless services, and containers
• Support CI/CD pipelines to enable fast, reliable frontend deployments
• Build interfaces for data-heavy and AI-powered applications
• Integrate AI/ML features (including LLM-powered workflows) into user-facing experiences
• Develop dynamic UIs that visualize complex datasets and real-time insights
• Mentor engineers on React best practices, frontend architecture, and UI development
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across engineering, product, and design
• Promote a culture of clean code, testing, and continuous improvement

Skills

• 5+ years building modern web applications, with a strong focus on React development
• Proven experience delivering production-grade, user-facing applications
• Experience working in fast-paced, product-driven environments
• Deep expertise in React.js and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
• Strong experience with state management (Redux, Zustand, React Query, etc.)
• Component architecture and design systems
• Performance optimization (lazy loading, memoization, etc.)
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS (Tailwind, CSS-in-JS, or similar), and responsive design
• Experience consuming and designing RESTful APIs
• Backend experience with Python frameworks (FastAPI, Django, Flask)
• Experience working with Azure or similar cloud platforms
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL or other relational databases
• Passion for crafting exceptional user experiences
• Strong attention to detail and frontend quality
• Proactive, ownership-driven approach to engineering
