[Remote] Junior IT Configuration Analyst

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Marathon TS is seeking an IT Configuration Analyst to support the CASTLE-NET program. This role is responsible for maintaining and managing Configuration Management Database (CMDB) records, supporting ITIL-based configuration management processes, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of IT asset and configuration information across the enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update Configuration Management Database (CMDB) records
• Identify, document, and manage Configuration Items (CIs)
• Track relationships between hardware, software, applications, and infrastructure components
• Support configuration audits and data quality initiatives
• Ensure compliance with established configuration management policies and procedures
• Assist with Change Management activities and configuration impact analysis
• Generate reports and metrics related to CMDB accuracy and configuration compliance
• Work with ITSM teams to improve configuration management processes
• Develop and maintain configuration management documentation
• Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives

Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of Configuration Management, IT Asset Management, CMDB Administration, or related ITSM experience
• Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms
• Working knowledge of ITIL framework and best practices
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience working in enterprise IT environments
• Active Secret Clearance
• Security+ Certification
• ITIL Foundation Certification
• Federal Government or DoD experience
• ServiceNow CMDB administration experience
• Experience supporting large-scale IT operations environments
