[Remote] Principal Product Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Aegistech is a company that powers the world's engineers and builders through their engineering intelligence platform. They are seeking a Principal Product Manager to own the strategy and roadmap for their connectors and integrations portfolio, working closely with multiple engineering teams and enterprise customers to drive successful integrations.
Responsibilities
- Own the strategy, roadmap, and outcomes for client's connector and integrations portfolio across PLM, ALM, CAD, and adjacent engineering systems
- Build a clear point of view on which integrations to invest in, in what order, and why — backed by customer evidence, market signals, and revenue impact
- Partner with engineering, design, architecture, and platform teams to deliver connectors that are reliable, secure, and easy for customers to deploy and operate
- Working with the VP of Product Management, develop and maintain partnerships with PTC, Siemens, Dassault Systèmes, and other ecosystem vendors — including joint roadmaps, certification programs, and marketplace listings
- Work directly with enterprise customers and field teams to validate problems, shape solutions, and turn integration wins into reference stories
- Define the connector platform — shared APIs, SDKs, auth, observability, deployment models — so each new integration ships faster than the last
- Set and track meaningful success metrics: integration adoption, time-to-value, content engagement through connectors, retention impact, and partner-sourced pipeline
- Represent the connectors business to senior leadership and influence client’s portfolio level decisions about platform investment, build-vs-partner tradeoffs, and pricing/packaging
Skills
- 8+ years in product management, with at least 4 years owning B2B technical, platform, integrations, or developer-facing products
- A track record of shipping integrations or connectors that customers actually adopt — not just demoware. You can point to specific outcomes
- Strong technical fluency: REST/GraphQL APIs, webhooks, SSO/SAML/OAuth, on-prem vs. SaaS deployment patterns, and the basics of how enterprise IT teams evaluate integrations
- Experience selling and shipping into large enterprises with mature engineering organizations and procurement processes
- Comfort operating across multiple engineering teams and in matrixed organizations — you can drive alignment without owning every team
- Sharp written and verbal communication. You can hold your own with a CTO, a partner exec, and a senior engineer in the same week
- A bias toward customer evidence and measurable outcomes over opinions
- Hands-on product or engineering experience with one or more PLM systems: PTC Windchill, Siemens Teamcenter, Dassault ENOVIA, Aras Innovator
- Familiarity with ALM tooling: Siemens Polarion, PTC Codebeamer, Jama Connect, IBM DOORS / DOORS Next, Helix ALM
- Background with CAD platforms — SolidWorks, Creo, CATIA, NX, Inventor, Solid Edge — or the MBSE/MBE workflows that span them
- Prior work building partner ecosystems, technology marketplaces, or developer platforms
- Experience in regulated or safety-critical industries: aerospace, defense, automotive, medical devices, or energy preferred
